This article is only applicable to stores that installed B2B Wholesale Hub after February 5th, 2026. If you installed before that date, you will need to follow this guide instead.
Setting up wholesale discounts is a quick and easy process. On the left side of the page (in the app navigation), click Discounts. Then, click the Add discount button in the top right corner to open the discount creation page.
Discount Details
Create a customer tag, add a title and add a percentage discount that will be available to any customer with the corresponding customer tag on their account.
Title
Add a unique title to your discount. The title of the discount will be seen by customers in both the cart and the checkout.
Customer Tag
This tag acts as the connection between customer accounts and their associated discounted prices. Make sure that the tags you use for your wholesale discounts match the tags you add to your customer accounts. Only one customer tag can be added per customer account, with the exception of Net Terms tags.
🔔 Customer tags must be 40 characters or fewer. This limit includes spaces.
Discount %
This is the discount percentage you will make available to customers with the corresponding customer tag.
Example:
Customer tag: Gold
Discount percentage: 50%
Result: Customers with the tag “Gold” receive 50% off the retail price of applicable collections when logged in.
Targeting Products
Next, target the products that are eligible for the wholesale discount you have created. There are two options in the Applies to dropdown to choose from: Specific collections and All products.
Select ‘Specific collections’ to manually select which collections are eligible for your discount”. Once collections are selected, click Add.
Select All products to make every product in your shop eligible for the wholesale discount you're creating.
Click Save.

Can I limit the number of times a customer receives the discount?
Sadly, no. While Shopify has a setting to allow you to 'limit number of times each customer can use this discount', this setting will not apply to our discounts.
