This guide covers the setup for Custom Prices for installs after February 5 2026. If you installed the app before February 5 2026, follow the Custom Prices - theme integrations guide.
This feature is available on the Professional plan. Learn more about pricing and plans.
Need to set pricing for individual products instead of discounting a whole collection? Use Custom Prices to set a new price for any product or variant.
From our blog:
"According to Beth, her favourite feature is the Custom Prices option included in the Wholesale Hub Professional plan. It’s helped her set individual pricing easily since she installed the app in early 2017."
Create a customer tag
To add custom prices for your customers you must first create a tag. Each tag has its own price list. Customers with that tag will receive the prices from that list.
Step 1: Making your first tag
Select the Custom Prices tab on the left sidebar. This will prompt you to create your first tag:
Step 2: Creating or editing a tag
You will be brought to the Custom Prices Settings page.
To set up your first tag, or to create new tags, select Add tag
Enter the tag that you will use for your eligible customers and click Save to create the tag.
You can create up to 10 different tags, each managing a unique custom price list for different customer groups.
Step 3: Entering a discount title
Consider entering a Discount Title for your customers.
This step is optional and can be entered when you make your first tag, or edited later at any time in the Custom Prices Settings page.
The title entered here is shown to your customer on your cart page and checkout next to their discounts. If no text is entered, customers will see “Wholesale Discount” as the default title. Hit Save at the top of the page to confirm your new title.
Step 4 - Adding custom prices in the app:
Go back to the Custom Prices dashboard. This is accessible on the admin sidebar, or top left navigation. This will pull up your Custom Prices table where you can assign new prices for any product variant.
A new column will appear on this list for every tag you make and each column provides price fields that allow you to customize prices differently. Simply find the product you want to add a custom price for and edit the corresponding field. Each product variant supports a different custom price.
Enter a price and move onto the next field you wish to edit. The previous price will auto-saved and a green checkmark will appear when the price has been saved successfully.
You can erase a custom price for any variant by deleting the number already entered in a price field.
Tip: B2B Wholesale Hub’s custom prices cannot raise a product price above its original price. All custom prices should be lower than the “Price” shown on your table to ensure it represents a discount. If you wish to edit a product’s original price, this is done in your Shopify admin under the Products section.
