What happens to my settings and tags if I uninstall and reinstall Wholesale Hub?

Understanding Data Loss and Restoration in Wholesale Hub

Uninstalling Wholesale Hub will permanently remove all your custom settings, tags, and app data. This includes any discount tags, custom prices, and other configurations you may have set up for wholesale purposes. Upon reinstalling the app, these settings and tags will not be automatically restored, as uninstalling cancels your subscription and wipes all associated data.

Manual Recreation of Settings

After reinstalling the app, you will need to manually recreate all custom settings and tags. This includes:

  1. Setting up new discount tags.

  2. Reconfiguring the app settings to match your previous customization.

Unfortunately, there is no automated processes to restore these configurations. As the uninstallation process removes all data linked to your account, our support team cannot assist in restoring your app data, settings, or tags.

Preventing Data Loss

To avoid losing custom settings and tags when uninstalling, consider the following:

  • Avoid uninstalling the app unless absolutely necessary. If you are experiencing functionality issues with the app, please contact the support team - uninstalling and reinstalling the app will not resolve issues, it will only introduce new ones!

  • If you plan to uninstall the app and reinstall later, take screenshots of your setup and discounts so you can recreate it easily.

By keeping these points in mind, you can maintain seamless functionality with our app, and avoid unnecessary effort in recreating your settings.
