Check that products are in targeted collections

The Custom Prices feature allows you to set a new price to any product. But in order for that custom price to work, that product must also be found in a collection targeted by your discount tag.

If you are not seeing your custom price display on the online shop after entering it, check to make sure that product is in a collection that is targeted by your tag's discount rule.

Check that product in your shop admin under the Products section, and see what collections it can be found in:

Next check your discount to see what collections it currently targets:

Products that are found in those targeted collections will display your custom price.

Tip: Remove this guesswork when targeting products for use with Custom Prices.

Consider setting up a discount tag with a 0% discount that targets a single collection with all of your products in it. Doing this makes all products eligible to receive a custom price.

Only the products you enter custom prices for will be discounted, but now all products in your shop are ready for custom prices through that collection.

Check if your app is still syncing

When entering or editing a custom price, B2B Wholesale Hub requires time to sync before changes are shown on the Online Store. We’ll send you an email once the sync is complete.

These emails will automatically be sent to the store owner’s email account. This is the primary email associated with your shop. Or you can enter a different email to receive these in the Custom Prices >> Settings menu.

Check that you're not raising a product's price

Custom prices can only apply if they are lower than the product's regular price.

For example: a custom price cannot raise a product's regular price - it must be a discount.

Each product's regular price is shown on the custom prices table under the "Price" column for reference.

Check the tags on customer accounts

Each customer account can support one tag that manages discounts at a time - so it’s important to ensure that only one discount tag is added to your customer accounts.

For example: You've made a "VIP" and "Wholesale" tag in the app for two different custom price lists. Make sure that both tags are not added to the same customer account - this will cause neither to work properly.

If you want a customer to have access to a combination of discounts from multiple tags, make a new tag for that customer instead.
