This article is only applicable to theme integrations (installs prior to February 5th, 2026.) If you installed B2B Wholesale Hub after February 5th, 2026 then you are using our app block version of the app, which has a separate installation process.
After adding B2B Wholesale Hub to your store, additional code needs to be added to your theme in order for wholesale discounts to show on your storefront. You can do this using the app’s Theme Setup tool.
This install process makes a copy of your selected theme and installs the app only on that new copy. Your original theme is not altered at any time, and you can keep it as a backup. You can then preview this new theme and publish it whenever you’re ready.
💡 Make sure to not delete your original theme after B2B Wholesale Hub has been installed on the new copied theme. This will help our support team if you ever need assistance uninstalling Wholesale Hub and can save you a lot of time. After B2B Wholesale Hub is installed, we recommend re-titling the original theme copy and saving it.
First-time setup
On B2B Wholesale Hub’s Welcome page, click Set up theme to show discounts.
Prepare your theme by making sure you don't have any other apps installed that modify pricing. Also, if you have an AJAX/popup cart enabled, use your theme editor to switch to page cart style. Click I'm Ready once you've prepared your theme.
Choose the theme you want to install B2B Wholesale Hub on from the dropdown menu, and click Run setup to initiate the install. The Theme Setup tool will automatically create an unpublished duplicate of that theme and install the app on that copy. Your live theme will not be affected.
Our support team will get in touch when your install is complete and your theme is ready to test.
🔔 It’s important not to run the Theme Setup tool on the same theme multiple times as this can cause errors in your theme. If you have any concerns that the install didn’t work, send our support team an email so we can check for you.
Reinstall Wholesale Hub
If you’ve updated your theme or installed a new theme in your store, you’ll need to use the Theme Setup tool again for B2B Wholesale Hub to work on your new theme.
In your dashboard, go to Menu > Theme Setup. From there, follow the same steps above to install B2B Wholesale Hub on your new theme.
Remember this process will always duplicate the theme you select, and it only adds the app code to the new copy.
You can preview that duplicate theme once this process is done, to see how the app fits into your new theme. Then publish that copy to make it live for your customers. Be sure to keep your original theme as a backup.
