This article is for stores that installed B2B Wholesale Hub before February 5 2026. If you installed Wholesale Hub after February 5 2026, you will need to follow the app block guide instead.
Wholesale Hub’s Theme Setup tool installs the app on an unpublished copy of your theme. Wholesale discounts will not appear on your live theme until you publish the new theme.
Before you publish, preview your new theme with Wholesale Hub installed to test your discounts.
💡 If you encounter issues with wholesale pricing display during testing, clear your browser cache, then log out and log back in before you test again.
Test the theme before publishing it to your storefront
Step 1
Go to Online Store > Themes in your Shopify admin and look for the theme that includes Wholesale Hub in your theme library. Click on the button with the three dots, and then select Preview.
💡 The theme with Wholesale Hub installed will include the abbreviation "B2H" in its title.
Confirm each product has a SKU in Shopify.
Confirm Wholesale Hub has finished syncing (check sync status in the app dashboard).
Confirm your test customer has the correct wholesale tag.
Confirm your discount targets the correct collections/products.
Additionally, assign customer tags and ensure they are associated with targeted collection items.
Step 2
In the preview of your theme, sign in as a test wholesale customer. To create a test wholesale customer, create a customer profile for yourself and add one of the wholesale tags you created in Wholesale Hub.
Step 3
Go to a collection you've targeted with your wholesale discount. Make sure the collection is targeted by the wholesale tag you've applied to your test account, and click on one of the products. On the collection page and product page you'll see the original retail price crossed out with the wholesale price next to it.
Step 4
Add the product to your cart. Wholesale discounts should appear in your cart line items and in the cart total.. If you have created Advanced Minimums or Volume Discounts rules you will see a notification on the cart page.
💡 Your theme must use a page cart for wholesale discounts to work. Theme integration installs are not compatible with AJAX or drawer carts because they bypass the full cart page.
If wholesale discounts do not display despite using a page cart, ensure that your wholesale customer tags are accurately entered and test the configuration under a tagged customer account using a theme preview.
🔔 You may see Sale Badges appear beside your discounted products. However, Wholesale Hub doesn’t generate sale badges, they are generated by your theme. We can usually hide sale badges for tagged wholesale customers. Contact support if you want to make that change!
Step 5
When you're ready to make your wholesale discounts available to your customers, select Publish from the Action menu on the theme with Wholesale Hub installed.
