On the Discounts page, you can view existing discounts and create new discounts. Discounts are assigned to member groups, and approved members will see discounts reflected in their cart when logged into their account.
💡 Discounts are applied in the cart and displayed on the product page using the Membership Price app block. Follow these instructions to add the Membership Price app block to your product page. Because of a Shopify limitation, the discounted price can’t display on collection pages. The discount will still apply in the cart/checkout for eligible signed-in members.
Step 1: Title your discount
Enter a discount title. Only you can see this title in Alliance Pro (members won’t see it).
Step 2: Add discount tiers
With tiered discounts, you can create multiple tiers for your discount. Under Discount tiers, configure the settings for your tiered discount.
Enter a message for your discount tier. Signed-in members will see this message in the cart and checkout.
Under Customer eligibility, choose which member group is eligible for this discount tier. Learn more about member groups in Alliance Pro.
Under Value, set the discount percentage for this discount tier.
Under Applies to, choose which collections this discount tier should apply to.
To add additional discount tiers, click + Add tier.
Step 3: Discount application strategy
Use these settings to choose when and how discounts are applied by Shopify:
First: Only the discount whose conditions are met first is applied
Maximum: Only the discount with the maximum reduction is applied
All: All discounts whose conditions are met are applied (recommended for multiple discount tiers)
🔔 If you have multiple discount tiers set, we recommend selecting All. If one of the other options is selected, some discounts from Alliance Pro may be excluded by Shopify.
Step 4: Combinations (optional)
