App blocks let you add app functionality to your storefront. You can add, remove, preview, reposition, and customize app blocks through the theme editor. In this article, learn about the different types of app blocks that can be configured with Alliance Pro and how to enable them.
🔔 App blocks may not be compatible with certain page types. To identify which of your theme sections support app blocks, refer to your theme's documentation or contact your theme developer.
Add an app block to a section
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click Customize.
Navigate to the page and section where you want to add the app block.
On the sidebar, click Add block.
In the Apps section, select the app block you want to add. To find an installed app, use the Search bar.
Optional: Click and drag the ⋮⋮ icon to move the block to another available location on the page. You can also customize the block using any available settings.
Click Save.
App block types
Different app blocks let you display Alliance Pro features on your storefront.
Membership status app block
The membership status app block allows you to combine the membership details along with the customer details onto their account page.
To use the membership status app block, open your theme editor and navigate to the classic customer accounts > customer account template. You'll be prompted to log in to a customer account.
On the sidebar, under Apps, click Add block.
From the drop-down menu, in the Apps section, select the membership status block.
You can drag the block around on the page, but Shopify only allows it to be placed above or below the account details.
Customizations
Customizations can be made within the theme editor on the right-hand sidebar:
Heading: you can change Membership status text.
Program message: Customize the message content.
Renewal message: Customize the message content.

Membership price app block
The membership price app block allows you to show strikethrough pricing on the product details page. This app block is visible only to logged-in customers with an active membership.
In your theme editor, navigate to the product details template.
On the sidebar, under Apps, click Add block.
From the drop-down menu, in the Apps section, select the membership price block.
Customizations
Customizations can be made within the theme editor on the right-hand sidebar:
Adapt to theme: removes the custom styles and adapt to the theme styles.
Badge colors: customize the background color, border color, and text color of the membership group badge
Option to hide the original price on the membership price app block.
Login to preview membership-price is shown because this block is hidden unless you’re a member.
Membership message app block
The membership message app block informs your members that discounts will be visible in the cart. The membership message can be added to cart, collection, and product templates. It is visible only to logged-in customers with an active membership.
Navigate to the cart, collection, or product template.
On the sidebar, under Apps, click Add block.
From the drop-down menu, in the Apps section, select the membership message block.

Customizations can be made within the theme editor on the right-hand sidebar:

Membership details (Profile Block Extension)
Requirements:
Store must be using new customer accounts (not classic/legacy)
Customer must be logged in
What it shows:
For active members: Status, Member Group, Membership Period, Discount Limit (if set)
For expired members: Status details + link to application form
For non-members: Nothing (extension is hidden)
For suspended/pending/rejected members: Nothing (extension is hidden)
Setup:
Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize
Navigate to Customer accounts → Profile page
Add the Alliance Pro - Membership Details app block
Position it in your desired section
Note: This is a Customer Account UI Extension, not a theme app block. It only appears in stores using Shopify's new customer accounts.
