If you have a list of members stored in a third-party app or service, you can use these instructions to export those members in a CSV and import them directly into Alliance Pro.

💡 Member Groups must be created in the app before importing members with a CSV. Learn how to create member groups before importing members.

1. Export your list of members from the service you use as a CSV file.

2. In Alliance Pro, go to the Members page.

3. In the top right, click Import members.

4. Drag the CSV file into the modal, or click Add file and select the file. Then click Import members.

🔔 It's important your CSV matches the format used in Alliance Pro. Click Download a sample CSV to check that your file is using the correct formatting.

5. (Required) You must have permission to send marketing emails to the customers you’re importing.

6. (Optional) Check the box titled Create customers in Shopify if they don't exist to create customer profiles in your Shopify admin for any members in your list that don't have customer profiles yet.

7. You'll receive an email when your import is complete. The email includes a link to download the CSV import results. This file shows which members were successfully added and highlights any rows that couldn’t be imported due to errors.

Common import errors are:

  • Missing or invalid group names (member groups must be created in advance)

  • Incorrect date format. Use YYYY-MM-DD, for example, 2025-12-31.

  • Formatting issues with required columns
