Ultimate Special Offers now allows for more fine-tuned control over the appearance and layout of your sale badges and allows you to create different sale badges for different offers. In this article, find out how to customize your sale badges to best suit your store.

Step 1: Enable sale badges

While creating or editing an offer, enable sale badges in the Presentation section of the setup page.

Step 2: Customize your sale badge text

In the Badge text field, enter custom text or leave the field blank to use the default "SALE" text.

πŸ”” Sale badges have a 40-character limit for custom text.

Step 3: Customize your sale badge appearance

Once you've enabled sale badges and decided on text, choose whether to use the default badge or create a custom badge.

From our blog:

"Before Ultimate Special Offers, Kind Face only used the Shopify built-in discount codes which are limiting and don’t offer the nice design elements that Ultimate Special Offers does. Danika says she loves that Ultimate Special Offers gives you banners you can customize."

If you choose to create a custom badge, find settings to adjust your Badge type, Background colour, Text/border colour, and Badge position. Use the Border checkbox to show a border around the sale badge.

πŸ’‘ Some themes will show other types of badges, for example, "Sold Out" or "New". Use the Badge position setting to make sure your sale badge isn't overlapping with other badges.

πŸ”” Fonts used on your storefront won't show up in your sale badge preview. Sale badge previews may differ from how they appear on certain pages on your storefront.

Adjust your default sale badge using your Appearance settings

The default sale badge appearance is a circular badge with black text. To adjust this default badge, use the app's main dropdown menu to navigate to your Appearance settings.

Near the bottom of your Appearance settings, use the sale badge settings to adjust the Badge type, Background colour, Text/border colour, and Badge position of the default sale badge. Use the Border checkbox to show a border around the sale badge.
