Tracking your popup views

There’s no way to detect when someone looks at a popup on your storefront, so Pixelpop counts a popup view whenever a customer lands on a page with a popup present on it. If a visitor lands on a page with a popup but moves away from that page before the popup is actually triggered, this will still count as a popup view.

You can keep track of your popup views in a few different places:

Dashboard

A graph on Pixelpop's dashboard for tracking popup performance.

At the top of your dashboard, you’ll see a graph where you can keep track of your popup views. Use the dropdown menus to choose whether you want to see data from all your popups or a specific popup, and adjust the date range.

Popup rows

Views and performance shown on an individual popup.

When a popup is published, it will display its total views and its performance for that week.

Account page

Popup views visible on the account page.

On your Account page, you can see your current plan and compare your popup views with how many views your plan allows.

If you’re noticing that you’re frequently going over your popup limit, it might be time to consider upgrading your plan to engage with more visitors.
